Why I built Seeker

I spent 16 years recruiting across corporates and small businesses in niche sectors. Over time, I gravitated toward smaller companies as I preferred working directly with leadership teams, where hiring decisions were more direct and accountable. That shifted my focus from sending CVs to identifying candidate fit.

When I moved into startups, I saw the same issue repeat at a different stage: founders hiring senior people for the first time, but struggling to identify who was actually right for the role based on CVs alone.

My approach was always to build a strong network of candidates and match them directly into roles. The value wasn't in volume, it was in the quality of the shortlist shaped by context and experience.

Seeker takes that approach and systemises it. We built a high-quality talent pool first, then use AI to surface the most relevant matches instantly, replicating experienced headhunting at scale.
